PRESS RELEASE: Charlotte Greve Wins The German Jazz Prize for Artist of the Year
On April 27th, 2022, composer, singer, and saxophonist Charlotte Greve won the 2022 German Jazz Prize for "Artist of the Year" for her 2021 New Amsterdam and figureight release, Sediments We Move.
Sediments We Move has been acclaimed as "an entirely different, otherworldly thing of beauty that defies category" (Jazz Times), with a style that is "most notable – and capable of creating new audiences of its own" (NYT).
